Small jobs.
Done properly.
Smaller residential flatwork, especially traditional broom-finished concrete, with one-on-one service from start to finish.
A filled hot tub is heavy and needs a flat, properly prepared slab. We build pads sized for your tub, finished in traditional broom-finished concrete, with room around it for safe footing.
- Typical sizes
- Commonly 8' x 8' to 10' x 10', or larger with a surround
- What affects cost
- Tub size and weight, excavation and base, access to the backyard, and any extra concrete for steps or a walkway.
A concrete base keeps your shed level, dry and off the ground so doors keep closing and the floor lasts. We prepare the base, form the edges and finish the slab to suit your shed.
- Typical sizes
- Roughly 8' x 10' up to 12' x 16' and larger
- What affects cost
- Size, what is there now (grass, gravel, old concrete), how much excavation is needed, and access for equipment.
New floors and replacements for cracked or settled slabs in smaller garages. We prepare the base and finish the surface for good drainage and easy cleaning.
- Typical sizes
- Single and smaller double garages
- What affects cost
- Slab size and thickness, removal of the old floor, base condition, and slope to the door.
New walkways and sidewalks, or replacements for cracked and heaved ones. We set the width and slope for safe footing and a clean connection to steps, driveways and patios.
- Typical sizes
- Typically 3' to 5' wide, any length
- What affects cost
- Length and width, removal of old concrete or pavers, grade changes, and steps.
Small patios in traditional broom-finished concrete. We shape and slope the patio so water runs away from your house and the surface stays safe underfoot.
- Typical sizes
- Small seating areas and similar
- What affects cost
- Total area, removal of existing material, grading and drainage, and access.
Concrete steps and other small flatwork where it makes sense for the job, built to match the walkway, patio or entrance they serve.
- Typical sizes
- Varies with the project
- What affects cost
- Number and height of steps, size and shape, and how it ties into existing concrete.
